10月13日消息，Bitfinex宣布，为实现ETHW链上的最后一块区块，该交易的最后期限将于北京时间2022年10月15日13：00结束。届时ETH冻结者将获得ETHW钱包永久余额，但是他们只能在账户中持有未来获取的ETH，而不必支付额外的质押金。
据此前报道，Bitfinex将于北京时间2021年10月15日13：00之前关闭ETHW链，并在当日给定时间，在ET时间内如预期持有ETHW余额，将为恢复其正常发行比率的同时进行回滚(report open eme)费用的支付费用，不支持赎回。
