8月11日消息，公链项目Conflux发起社区提案 CIP-102，提议拟将挖矿算法更改为Ethash Contractship S。若要将挖矿算法更改为 PoW ，参与链上治理将由Conflux中一小组核心节点共同提出提案。
11 月 11 日，Conflux 发起社区提案 “Conflux labs-Shelley”。
Conflux 团队认为 Conflux 不应该成为 P2P 计算的底层公链，Conflux 不应该与 P2P 概念并列在一起。同时，在该提案的提议 “Ethash算法应该由 Ethereum 2.0 Classic”中提出，但并未最终解决。
