Ethereum makes a profit through being a value exchange medium for global digital currencies. Ethereum is a branch of cryptocurrency that serves as a bridge between Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ethereum has multiple uses: it can be used for paying transaction fees, as a medium of exchange, and as a storage method for other cryptographic assets (such as ETH). Currently, many exchanges are considering offering these services. However, the price trend of Ethereum is very complex. From the graph, we can see that the price of Ethereum fluctuates dramatically, so if one wants to obtain a lower investment return, they need to purchase more mainstream coins like Bitcoin. Therefore, investing and holding Ethereum is either high-risk or potentially results in significant losses. As the price of Ethereum rises, investors can hedge risks by holding some mainstream coins.

Does Ethereum have investment value? Currently, Ethereum’s price is hovering around $21,200, while Bitcoin’s price is around $11,600 (equivalent to about ¥200 Chinese yuan). If we analyze based on the current price, when Bitcoin reached its highest point during the bull market in 2017, Ethereum’s price was only about $2,500, whereas in early 2018, Ethereum had already reached a high point of nearly $4,000.
