This includes “providing payment services to the country” and “supporting the creation of virtual financial markets”, which means conducting transactions in the form of legal currency without bank accounts, collateral, or guarantees.

At the end of August 2018, the report “New World Economic Outlook” pointed out that with the development of blockchain technology and the gradual change in countries’ attitudes towards the encryption industry, virtual digital assets will become the new mainstream investment product. Therefore, virtual currency has emerged, and its issuance will also be led by the central bank.

According to Sina Finance News, it was recently reported that “a virtual currency exchange reaped a large number of customers through a false trading platform.” After receiving payment from users, the exchange immediately started providing virtual currency to the market.

This move is essentially designed to achieve a virtuous cycle between digital assets and the real economy, with the main purpose of increasing society’s demand for and acceptance of virtual goods. “This project is to establish a new, decentralized financial system.” one investor said, “We hope to see virtual currency as a new means of storing value and unleash their greater market potential.”
